【2021.7.30~2021.8.4】Online oversea training(England・US・Thailand・China・Singapore)
A three-day student exchange event with overseas universities was held online from July 30 to August 3, 2021.
GP-MS planned this event to allow students to interact with overseas university students as they were forced to cancel their overseas training due to COVID-19.
This time, we had faculty members and students from Imperial College London (UK), National University of Singapore (Singapore), University of Virginia (USA), Peking University (China) and Chiang Mai University (Thailand), who are related to the field of materials.
The content of each event was left up to each university. Still, each university had its own unique online campus tour, faculty introduction, short lecture, academic exchange with students, and chat sessions.
The faculty and students introduced us to the atmosphere of the university, the surrounding tourist spots, the food, and other information that would be helpful to them when they study abroad in the future.
It seemed to be a meaningful online study abroad experience for the GP-MS students, as the international exchange is limited these days.
Even if the overseas training program is permitted, I hope to communicate with multiple overseas universities.
