【2026.6.19】GP-MS Lecture Series（Chair person：Mr. Jiayan Liu）

Under the chairmanship of Mr. Jiayan Liu, a second‑year doctoral student, we held an international lecture session.
Dr. Yu-chen Karen Chen-Wiegart from Stony Brook University delivered a lecture titled “Illuminating Complex Materials through Multimodal Synchrotron X-ray Characterization,” and Dr. Renhao Wu from the Institute for Materials Research gave a talk entitled “Insights into processing-induced heterostructure evolution and multiscale deformation mechanisms in advanced steels.”
The seminar room at IMR was filled to capacity, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere.
We were able to hear many fascinating insights from both speakers, and we believe it was an extremely meaningful and enriching time for all participants.
