President delegation of Universität Darmstadt visited Tohoku university

On June 4, 2019 (Tues.), President of the Technische Universität Darmstadt Hans Jürgen Prömel and his delegation visited Tohoku University and met with President Hideo Ohno, Vice-President Toshiya Ueki, Prof. Takayoshi Ogawa, Prof. Katsunari Oikawa (GP-MS Program Director) and Project Prof. Yomei Yoshioka (GP-MS Support Office). They also visited the materials research facilities (Rare Metal Building). Prof. Karsten Albe, one of the delegates and in charge of materials science and engineering, discussed the collaboration items under the GP-MS program with Prof. Tsuyoshi Mihara (Head of Department), Prof. Oikawa, Prof. Hitoshi Takamura, Prof. Tetsu Ichitsubo, Prof. Naoyuki Nomura, based on the research introductions of Prof. Albe and Takuya Hatakeyama, D1 student in Ichitsubo Lab.
