【2021.10.25-28】The 5th Symposium for The Core Research Clusters for Materials Science and Spintronics, and the 4th Symposium on International Joint Graduate Program in Materials Science
The GP-MS co-sponsored international symposium was held for four days, from October 25 to 28. The symposium was co-hosted by the Core Research Cluster for Materials Science and Spintronics and was held online.
There were keynote lectures by CRCs on the first day, and from the second day to the fourth day, there were oral lectures, including the GP-MS student session. This year, the poster session was held in an RPG (role-playing) style, making the poster session different from other symposiums.
This year, Ms. Pang, Mr. Matsuo, and Ms. Chioma from the Graduate School of Science and Ms. Saito from the Graduate School of Engineering had student sessions.
This was the third time for them to hold a student session and the second time for them to have an online session, so they took over their previous experience and played the role of chair. Thank you all for your hard work!
In the poster session, Ms. Yamaguchi, Mr. Matsuo, and Mr. Huang won the Best Poster Award, and Mr. Yamamoto and Ms. Saito won the Poster Award! Congratulations!
It's so pity that we didn't have a chance to talk directly with the invited professors like at the banquet because it was held online, but I hope that this session will be a good opportunity for them to continue their relationship.
