GP-MS Lecture series (Prof.Sylvain)

We invited Assoc. Prof. Sylvain Dancette from INSA Lyon in France and held a lecture hosted by GP-MS. The title of this lecture is ”Mechanical behavior of Advanced High Strength Steel spot welds, experiments and modeling”. About 30 students attended and listened intently. After the lecture, the students asked many questions, indicating that the lecture was very meaningful for the students.

Face-to-face classes and overseas travel are gradually resuming, but it was after a long time for GP-MS to have a lecture by an overseas professor, face-to-face. We live in an age where we can take classes online, but face-to-face lectures allow us to communicate directly with foreign teachers in English. And the students having interests in the same academic field can get together and know each other. It also provides a place for the students to receive good stimulation.
